Thanks to its 2-section removable center column and individual leg spreading it can also sit close enough to the ground for macro work. The 3-way pan/tilt head features ergonomic handles and a built-in quick release with included camera plate. A ballast hook on the center column allows you to add stabilizing weight, and the rubber feet twist to reveal metal spikes for using the tripod on a variety of surfaces. .
